Hi! My name is Raghad Elwali. I’m a multidisciplinary creative.
My name is Raghad Elwali. I am a multidisciplinary creative who has explored almost every corner of the arts, from creative writing and theatre to acrylics, photography, and design. My journey began at six years old, surrounded by a family of artists, and I naturally gravitated toward expressing myself through different mediums.
In 2020, at sixteen, I launched my first independent initiative: an African arts and culture magazine focused on graphic design. Through that project, I collaborated with more than ten creatives across the continent and reached an audience of over five hundred viewers. It taught me discipline, cultural awareness, and the value of collaboration. It has remained an ongoing passion for five years.
In 2023, at eighteen, I founded an officially licensed clothing brand in Dubai. That experience showed me what it truly means to build and maintain a brand from the ground up. I learned SEO marketing, branding, production cycles, and how to turn vision into a tangible identity. The process came with losses, but those losses became lessons, and I now understand how to cultivate a brand with clarity and purpose.
In 2025, I began designing beaded jewelry, participating in three bazaars and selling over ten handcrafted pieces. Jewelry making introduced me to a new form of art and strengthened my focus, patience, and handcrafting abilities. Across all my projects, I have designed my own websites, branding, and logos, managed social media and advertising, and produced both original and handcrafted pieces. I have worked mostly on my own, which pushed me to become resourceful, adaptable, and deeply committed to the creative process.
In the past year, I have completed two poetry books and two full short film scripts. My goal is to produce the films in 2026 and publish my written works in the years to come.
For my education, I studied at AISJ and ICademy ME during high school. I later earned a foundation degree in general studies at Murdoch University Dubai, where I developed an interest in marketing and intercultural studies. I then pursued a BA in History at Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. After beginning my first year, I chose to step away and focus on building a career in the creative field, where I knew I belonged.
Every initiative, business, and project has taught me how to navigate both the creative and business worlds with confidence. I have collaborated with artists across Africa and built connections within Dubai’s creative scene, where I currently reside. Despite the common belief that being a Jack of all Trades limits success, my experience has shown me the opposite. I have mastered the crafts I committed to, and my range allows me to build with intention and clarity.
I am currently freelancing, helping individuals create captivating personal and professional brands while running my online jewelry business. If you want to elevate your projects and bring your ideas to life, get in touch. Let’s create something meaningful together.
